Apple sales in China increased by more than 18 percent in December, according to the latest data from the Chinese Academy of Technology and Information.
According to CNBC, this data led the company to increase by 2 percent immediately after the news was released, touching a historic high, at $ 309.63 a share.
In December, Apple sold 3.2 million iPhones in China, up from 2.7 million in the previous year.
China is a key point for Apple's business, given the size of such a market. During the first quarter of last year, Apple's revenue from China alone was fixed at $ 13.17 billion, a decrease of 5 billion compared to the same period last year.

Third-quarter data appear to have reversed the trend. Other data show that Apple holds 8 percent of the market in China from 9 percent the year before.
